Sudden Death is a special gameplay mode from Primal Rage. This mode is automatically triggered in case of a tie between both players at the third round (each player won a round and one round ended in a draw), signaled by the words "SUDDEN DEATH" flashing below the lifebars. While active, objects will fall from the sky, which object depending on the arena (either meteors, hail or bricks), with both player's lifebars continuously draining until the time is over. In case the Sudden Death match ends in another draw both players lose automatically.

- If one of the players perform Chaos's Fart of Fury move right before Sudden Death begins, cows will fall from the sky instead of whichever object normally falls on the arena.
